On the 14th of December 2019, HMC exhibited at the 3rd UK Qur’an competition at the East London Mosque & the London Muslim Centre. HMC would like to thank everyone who visited our exhibition stand. Established in 2016, the event was organised by the National Huffadh Association UK (NHA). The NHA was created to educate, develop and empower Huffadh within the UK in order that they can progress and contribute to wider society. The event hosted many well recognised exhibitors including Al Khair Foundation and HMC certified sweets retailer, Heavenly Delights. The event also welcomed an attendance of judges from Egypt, Tanzania, India, Norway and the UK.

During the show, HMC had the opportunity to speak to likeminded guests on matters of Halal food and educate the public on the importance of using and consuming Halal products. On the day, we distributed HMC certified sweets, leaflets and conducted an interview with Maulana Salman of Camden (which will be uploaded on to social media very soon!).

HMC would also like to commend and congratulate all the participants and wishes each person the very best for the future InshaAllah. We would also like to thank the event organisers for putting on a memorable event. From the staff to the volunteers, each person played a pivotal part in making the Qur’an competition a huge success. If you are part of an organisation that happens to host similar events amongst the Muslim communities then please reach out to HMC via info@halalhmc.org. HMC are always looking for sponsorship opportunities and are eager to partake in great causes like the one above.
