It was a great pleasure to exhibit at the Manchester Halal expo that took place on the 14th and 15th of July 2023 in Manchester at the Old Trafford football ground.
The entire HMC team over the two days engaged with many members of the public who congratulated HMC on the great work that it was doing to provide a genuine halal choice to the Muslim community as well as businesses that wanted to attain certification with HMC to give more consumer confidence.
Nadeem Adam, on behalf of HMC, took part in a panel discussion on the topic of Halal, certification and how accreditation works as well its importance within the Halal sector in 2023.
We look forward in meeting with you all once again at the Halal Expo in December 23, which is taking place at the London Excel.

HMC is the UK’s largest Halal certifying body, employing over 220 people. Last month alone, HMC staff spent 12,000 hours to ensure your food is genuinely Halal with 13,000 visits made to outlets nationwide. It is a registered charity and also a not for profit organisation. It is overseen by a voluntary body, the National Executive Committee that consists of mainly scholars who are the Trustees of the organisation. HMC has been set up to work in the favour of all Muslims and the consumer at large. HMC aims to regulate and at every point inspect Halal products from source to the consumer. HMC is committed to serving the Muslims and the wider community and it intends to provide peace of mind and security where required.
