HMC – New Website Launch

After months of design and development, we are pleased to announce the launch of our new website. Over recent years, many of our users have accessed our site for a handful of reasons. Outlets who are interested in certification, schools who have joined HMC giving parents the ‘peace of mind’ that they seek and of course consumers who browse through our ‘Certified Outlets’ directory for butchers, takeaways, restaurants, schools and caterers for their daily needs.

With an increase over the years of new and existing visitors on our site, we have used analytics to best understand user behaviour. With that in mind, we have designed a website which is faster, easier to navigate and of course, with an upsurge in mobile users, a mobile friendly experience.

What’s new?

With a demand for Halal certified products increasing dramatically, we have embedded a HMC outlets search tool on to our home page for the convenience of our users. Consumers will now be able to search for outlets within a specified miles radius. Our website will also feature a ‘Suppliers’ page which is intended for retail outlets wanting to adopt HMC certification. The Suppliers List contains details of slaughterhouses, processing plants as well as non-meat products such as Quorn, Pharmaceutical, Health and Beauty, Dairy, Bakery and Confectionary products.

We have also added a “Resources” page which includes many Halal related articles. This varies from Halal and Haram animals to healthy eating and even a recipe section full of starters, mains and desserts.

We are excited about the launch of our website and hope that it provides a pleasant user experience for you all, in’shaa’Allah. Please feel free to share your thoughts by sending us a message using the contact page or alternatively  email us on info@halalhmc.org.
