HMC Statement – LDHM Blackburn Clarification

Please note that LDHM based on Eden St. in Blackburn is not certified by HMC for retail trade. All members of the public are advised that should they wish to purchase HMC certified products then they need to look out for a HMC certificate and yellow window sticker as well as being listed on the HMC website.

Also note that HMC circulated a message in the Lancashire area on Saturday 04.10.2014 in regards to Qurbani’s at LDHM.  Please see below:

“AAWW, please note that LDHM based on Eden St. in Blackburn is NOT certified by HMC for retail trade, LDHM recently claimed on a leaflet that they would be supplying HMC certified Qurbaani meat to the community of Blackburn and Lancashire. All Muslims of Blackburn and Lancashire who have ordered Qurbaanis with LDHM are hereby informed that LDHM retail is NOT certified by HMC and therefore HMC do not take any responsibility of Qurbaanis brought from LDHM. Please always check the HMC certificate before placing your Qurbaani orders, for more information please refer to HMC’s website on www.halalhmc.org

HMC would also like to advise that HMC cannot take responsibility for any other messages that are currently being circulated or maybe circulated in the future regarding LDHM as the official message from HMC is noted above.
